Noelle received her Elementary Education Degree from Buena Vista University. After discovering her love of teaching preschool, she immediately went on to earn her Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement at the University of Northern Iowa. She has taught for over 15 years and has been working with children for 20. Child development and behavior is a passion of hers inside and outside of work — not to mention, she simply enjoys connecting and having fun with kids! Over the years, Noelle has taught preschool, kindergarten, 6th grade, and special education for preschool through 8th grade. She has also had the opportunity to work in Student Services, where she implemented different behavior and instructional interventions. Next to building positive relationships with the kids, her favorite part of teaching was being able to make a difference with students — and she felt that most when teaching specialized instruction, because each student had their OWN GOALS. This is one of the main reasons Noelle is excited to work at Axis Therapy Center: so she can provide the individualized support that each child requires. When she's not working, Noelle enjoys spending time with her patient husband, her daughter who is 10 (going on 15), and her quirky 13-year-old son, who is non-verbal with Autism and provides the family with nonstop entertainment.
