Grady graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in German and linguistics. He joined the team with eight years of experience working with kids, including four years as an elementary school special education associate. His time in the schools made him realize he wanted to focus his work on students with autism. His dedication to serving his community extends from his work to his personal life. From volunteering at a bird rehabilitation facility to identifying and measuring trees for the DNR's Big Tree Program, Grady is heavily involved in nature conservation in Iowa. In his free time, he wanders public land looking for ancient mounds and wildlife.
