Katherine is currently an Iowa State student pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Special Education and a minor in Educational Services. Her background includes childcare as a float teacher for children ages 0-5, along with private nanny experience with school-aged children. Alongside her work at Axis, Katherine collaborates on an educational research project involving elementary schools in Des Moines, is regularly involved with Raising Readers of Story County, and tutors math at the collegiate level. She took the Behavior Technician position to work professionally with families navigating their journey through disability, and she prides herself on being an accessible advocate they can rely on.
