Makenzie is a lover of books, cats, and music. For much of her life, she struggled to understand why socializing felt so difficult for her. Receiving an autism diagnosis at age 20 provided the clarity she needed to make sense of those challenges. Through that experience, Makenzie developed meaningful strategies to navigate life's difficulties independently, though the process was not always easy. She hopes to use her personal experiences to support and guide others as they navigate their own journeys.
