Makenzie has been working with children with autism since October 2021. Prior to joining the Axis team, she had worked in school and clinic settings as an Instructional Aide and a RBT. Makenzie’s favorite part of being a RBT is watching children have their light bulb moment with different tasks. Makenzie is originally from Indianapolis, IN, but moved to Iowa to study at University of Northern Iowa. In her free time, she enjoys hanging with her friends, reading, spending time outdoors with her dog, and is involved in a local young adult ministry.
