Marisa is master’s student studying Applied Behavior Analysis. She has an immense passion for helping others thrive and has supported individuals with special needs since 2021. Before relocating to Ames to pursue degrees in sociology and environmental studies and a certificate in science communication, she served as a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa in Des Moines for five years. Her other passions include climbing, hiking, singing, playing the guitar, and spending time with her two cats, family, and friends.
