Melanie has 3 children and lives in Adel with her youngest daughter, 2 cats (Mylo and Charlie) and dog Piper. She has previous experience working as a paraprofessional at an elementary school, and at a daycare for four years in the toddler room and also ran the school aged/summer program. Melanie has two grandchildren, ages 8 and 6; one is on the spectrum and currently attends ABA therapy, which is where she learned about the field. She enjoys kayaking, camping, movies, dinners out, cooking and baking.
