Layce is currently pursuing a degree in psychology through Iowa State University and DMACC. She began teaching dance at a young age and has spent years helping children build confidence, express themselves, and have fun while learning and growing. Growing up with a brother with autism, ODD, and ADHD played an important role in shaping Layce’s passion for understanding and supporting each child as an individual. Her experiences with both her brother and her dance students inspired her to pursue a role where she can build meaningful connections, celebrate each child’s progress, and help them feel supported and encouraged as they grow. Outside of school and work, Layce enjoys dancing, singing, and all things sports. She is excited to bring creativity, encouragement, and a little extra fun to each day at Axis!
